This is a good first impression, but the content is not for me. Whilst I am enjoying the historical fiction genre, this one just wasn't for me. I believe this is a series and I haven't read the previous books so I could be missing out on background. This isn't the books fault. The front cover is suitable for the genre and I do like it for this book.
