This is the fourth book in a series, so I probably don't know a few things a reader should before reading this novel. But it didn't change the fact that the writing is not of the greatest: long sentences with too much vocabulary that turn into long paragraphs.
The beginning is gruesome (TW blood, torture, death), and I don't particularly seek for this kind of content in a novel.
