This book was such a good read! Something thing that really makes the story so good is Nicholas. I love his personality and connect with it. How he can't hold his laughter when the two lawyers are questioning him. How he can be calm and thinking how hilarious and dumb the lawyers are. He's a stunning character with an personality that just can't seem to bore anyone out. I love characters who should be boring and serious but is the complete opposite. While travelling Nicholas overhears and sees the final moments of a terrible murder.
At the scene is a terrified maiden called Hella Maas.
Fearing for her safety in case she is implicated they take her along with them.
But soon Hella shows weird traits, she is incredibly religious and keeps spouting prophecies about both Bianca and Nicholas but even more startling is her conviction she has seen the day of judgement.
Scared of their new travelling companion they start to wonder just who they rescued...
Oh my word this was relentless, such a good story and non stop action and great characters, even the bad ones!
