This was completely different to what I normally read but the preview on readers first really gripped me then I was fortunate enough to win a copy in the competition and I am so glad I did! Like I said its out of my comfort zone but I was gripped the characters in both couples are so differing and completely extreme but still somehow very relatable. I think we were all seriously concerned for Ned at different points of the story and also definitely rooting for him. I personally found Bianca slightly annoying as a character but I think that speaks depths about how well written the character Is. I love the historical aspects to the story and how the setting felt very genuine and you felt yourself as part of that atmosphere from the very clever writing style. It is by no means an easy read but really worth pushing hard to continue to the end of the story.
