This book sounds like the perfect holiday read despite it's premise. Four families on holiday together and there's murder involved, sounds like exactly what I need in my life! The introductory chapters give us an insight into the mind of Kate and how she is connected to the other characters (friends, husbands, kids) and she quickly discovers a secret.
