Thank you to Readersfirst for letting me read the first couple of chapters of this book.

We follow Kate and her family as they travel to France for their holiday. During the trip Kate expresses her feelings through monologues, explaining how her husband has changed and is more reserved then he used to be, not touching or showing her any emotions like they should as a married couple. When they arrive at the beautiful villa they have a catch up with one of Kate’s old school friends, still waiting for 3 more friends as a yearly reunion. Whilst unpacking in her room, Kate hears a messenger tone going off on a mobile phone. Realising it’s not hers, she checks her husbands phone to find out that he has been having an affair. With one of her old school friends. Question is, who is it?

This book is beautifully written, the language is descriptive and vivid. The first few sentences are quite short which I really enjoyed. I am really excited to see who the lady is that Kate’s husband is having an affair with and by the looks of the cover, there may be a murder. I love a gripping murder book and I feel like this will be the one!
