29 seconds wasn't a great read - it started well but ran out of ideas halfway through. I am hoping that The Holiday doesn't suffer from the same malaise. It has started fairly well but even by the end of the First Impression, and coupled with the publisher's blurb, I do have my reservations about if the idea can be sustained through an entire book.

The setting sounds truly idyllic and we only really have an insight in to Kate and her husband. That said Rowan and her husband both appear to be terminally distracted and that amply explains their daughters tantrum issues.

Genuinely not sure about this one.
