Fast-paced and cleverly plotted, The Holiday is a twisting tale of friendship, families, secrets and betrayal. The book follows four longtime female friends who decide to take what turns out to be an eventful summer holiday with their families at a luxurious villa in southern France. Packed with secrets and suspense, the descriptive multiperspective narrative, well-drawn characters and intricate plot saw me racing through the pages and weaving through the jaw-dropping twists and turns through to a shocking ending that was impossible to second guess. This is the first book I have read by T.M. Logan and I would not hesitate to recommend it to fans of this genre. Straw sun hats off to the author for creating such an ingenious tale!
