The Holiday by T.M. Logan had me gripped from the very beginning. It was the perfect beach read as it was full of suspense and the characters were so interesting. Old friends go on holiday together with their partners and families but one of them ends up dead. The story makes this clear from the beginning and then jumps back to the beginning of the holiday. Each of the characters were flawed in their own way and the relationships between them were complex.
Overall, if you are looking for an un-putdown-able story about friendships, and family secrets, this is the book for you! A quick read that you will definitely be passing into you friends when you finish. It might make you not want to go on holiday with friends again though!
