The Holiday is based around 4 friends who decide to celebrate their 40th Birthdays with a holiday, including their respective husbands and children.
It becomes apparent early on that there are rifts between the friendship group and that tension is running high.
This was a gripping fast paced thriller and one I loved. I didn't guess the ending (obviously I won't disclose this). I really enjoyed the Authors style of writing and the novel reminded me of The Couple Next Door, not that the story is similar at all but the fast paced well written nature of it.
