I finished this book in one sitting - I loved it! Despite being a slow burner, I was really captivated from the first few pages. I thoroughly enjoyed Logan’s style of writing as I found it incredibly engaging, exciting and entertaining.
The short chapters added to the suspense of the novel and kept the novel from dragging. This was also helped by the multiple points-of-view in the narrative! I did get very frustrated at points as I couldn’t figure things out - but it did all come together at the end (after a whole load of twists that I never saw coming).
The characters were well-developed and, whilst I didn’t necessarily like all of them, I did keep on reading! The setting was perfect and well-described: I could really picture it in my head. I do feel that I had one or two unanswered questions at the end of the book, but they were very minor.
I can’t wait to read T.M. Logan’s other books, and I would definitely recommend this for people who enjoy a slow-paced addictive thriller with lots of drama! All I will say is to expect the unexpected!
