The Holiday is a story based on a wife finding incriminating messages on her husbands phone while on holiday with the woman he is cheating on her with. There are 3 options for the woman it could be and usually with a murder/crime novel, I work out who is the person “whodunnit”. However with The Holiday, I had absolutely no idea the whole way until the very end! I thoroughly enjoyed this story from beginning to end, loved the fact that it was set in a chateau in France to add to the glamour and loved the way we had various different points of view to each chapter. I’m really upset that I’ve come to the end, and I was really upset as I was reading because I knew I was getting closer to the end!
