Birthday reunion holiday sounds tame but not for Kate who suspects that her husband Sean is having an affair with one of her friends. The main thread of the story is told though Kate as first person but there are background chapters of the other characters as well. Descriptions of the characters
and scenery make it easy for the reader to picture the events as the happen. All the characters are fully involved in the plot of the story. I did find Kate a little paranoid at times and I found myself questioning some of the things she said and did but that does not distract the book from being a very good read. I was a little concerned that the ending would disappoint but whatever the draw backs of this book are, the ending did not disappoint.
