I enjoyed this for the most part, it’s a fast-paced thriller and the second half of the book is more of a page turner. Although I understood the changing point of view of the multiple characters, it was hard to get to know the characters apart from the main character Kate, and what I did know I didn’t particularly like! I enjoyed the twists and it wasn’t something I guessed but equally it didn’t blow me away. The setting is beautiful, I really could imagine the villa in Provence, the writing regarding the setting was very descriptive. I also really enjoyed the short snappy chapters, for me that’s something that is important because it allows me to read more in a shorter amount of time. Overall, writing was really good, I think the author understands what a reader wants from a thriller, I would definitely read something else from this authors.
