Summer. It was meant to be the perfect summer. Kate was going on holiday with her friends and family to a luxurious destination. She was meant to drink cocktails, enjoy the sun and relax.
That's not what happened.
Kate finds out that her husband and her friends are keeping secrets from her. She spends most of the holiday trying to find out what the secrets are.
However, during her investigations she finds out a lot of secrets and not everyone makes it back alive from the holiday.
This book was absolutely gripping and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The short chapters kept me wanting to read "just one more chapter" and I couldnt put the book down.
I thought I had it all figured out, but as usual with this author, twists and turns are thrown in the novel!
