Four old university friends decide to restart their tradition of holidaying together. But, as soon as the decision to go away (and with their families tagging along too) is made, Kate begins to regret it ... and with very good reason as it turns out!

They do say that 'a little knowledge is a dangerous thing', especially when adding up one plus one Kate makes three or even four! She gets the wrong end of the stick, but once she's got it between her teeth, she just can't let go ... until it's too late that is!

Logan captured appropriate writing styles for each of his characters, especially when moving from adult to child which made them all very believable and individual.

I really enjoyed reading 'The Holiday' which had great plot twists along the way. However, I must confess this book wasn't quite the page turner I had anticipated ... that is until about two thirds the way through - at which point I couldn't put it down!
