The affair is revealed within the first few chapters and the other party is narrowed down immediately. I love that, it means the actual story can get going asap!
The writing style is simply beautiful, the description of France, the scenery, the house, everything is perfection. You can picture it perfectly and feel you are with them. Again it’s done in a wonderful way that doesn’t make it feel like it’s dragged out or used to fill pages, it’s just effortlessly part of the story.
