This book kept me guessing right until the very end. I never truly knew what was going to happen next until I read the last page. The whole story is very cleverly put together. Four friends going on holiday together with their families to celebrate turning 40. The best of friends at uni, time has changed the dynamics of some of the relationships while others remain strong. A week in a beautiful house provided by one of the women's client. What could go wrong?

The story and events were cleverly set up with lots of distracting happenings to make sure you never truly knew where it was going to go next. Kate spends the whole week trying to work out which of her friends might be having an affair with her husband, find out why her daughter is so upset and reclusive while trying to make sure everyone has fun.

A fast paced read with a few annoying characters but overall a super enjoyable and fun read. Would recommend. Looking forward to reading the catch next.
