I was a bit worried at the beginning that I just was not going to get into this book but I worried for nothing and finished it within a day - I was (eventually) completely hooked! There was doubt and confusion created from the odd behaviour of various characters, all of whom added great variety to the story and plot line. It ended up being quite a page-turner and it did not go where I expected it too at all, which in this case I really enjoyed and always for me makes a book more exciting. I can not wait to read more books by this author.
