Can’t help but think there is more to this story.. don’t believe it’s as straight forward as you’re initially led to believe.
However, it does paint an excellent picture of Southern France and you are transported to a house of luxury. A hot sultry landscape is no doubt mirroring the atmosphere ahead.
The lead character is engaging and automatically relatable. She has suspicions about her husband and secretly reads a number of anonymous texts which she assumes, means her husband is having an affair.
As we are initially introduced to the additional characters I can’t help but think there is more to the back history of these four college friends and that something in their past friendship is going to be the reasons behind the paranoia.
