The Holiday follows Kate, her 3 best friends and their families who have all just embarked on a holiday that will change their lives... and not for the better. Kate is sure husband Sean is having an affair, after all she has seen the texts, but the question is which of her 3 friends is to blame? I enjoyed the mystery of this book, trying to figure out whose allegations were actually true and reveal who is the 'one killer' as detailed on the books cover! But I did find it difficult to keep up with all the characters and who belonged to who in each family (maybe because I listened to most of this on audio book??). Most of the characters (except Lucy and little Daniel) got on my last nerve throwing blame around left right and centre, and I found myself not really caring who died anyway. This book is lengthy and will have your mind spinning from all the clues, but it is worth the wait when the puzzle pieces all finally fit in the end. (less)
