I really enjoyed reading this book. It’s pacey and punchy and built on a whole load of assumptions.

I found the main characters equally interesting and the whole premise of ‘who dunnit’ really interesting too.

Starting with the youngsters, each child was equal in its own right. However, I found Odette the most intriguing. She’s exceptionally close to her mum and her mum doesn’t seem to let her out of her sight. Lucy seems to be struggling with some internal issue that spans the whole novel too. The older boys are in constant competition with each other which can only end disasterously.
The adults are equally secretive and full of assumptions. It centres around one main couple that seem to be distant with one another, like a big wedge is between them that’s permanently increasing. We find out at the end of the novel the reality of the situation.
A great little read which I thoroughly enjoyed.
