This was one of my favourite books last year. From the dynamic relationships between the characters and the depth created to their backstories and interactions I was hooked.
This is a classic whodunnit that kept me guessing throughout.
No character is all good or bad, there is grey in each of them so anyone could be guilty.
The setting of the novel is so realistic and made me want to jet away on holiday!
There is a constant sense of unease throughout this novel, which makes you doubt everyone involved and what secrets they are hiding. To do this to such a large group of characters and across such an age range is no easy task but one that was done with ease.
After reading this I bought pretty much every piece of work by the author- a new firm favourite for sure!
If you enjoy a good thriller and a domestic novel then this is perfect. I also hope it’s made into a TV series- it would be perfect!
