This book really gripped me. I couldn’t put it down. I loved the mix of different characters and liked getting the perspectives of different characters every few chapters. I much preferred this style to some books that change to a different character’s perspective every new chapter. It kept me in suspense the whole way through and I didn’t guess the ending.
I loved that it was set in the South of France. The description of the setting really added to the atmosphere.
A quote on the front of the book reads “makes you think twice about going away with friends” and I would totally agree. The author takes time to highlight the imperfections of each character to contrast with the idyllic setting of sun, delicious food and copious amounts of wine.
This is the first book that I have read by TM Logan and I am already looking forward to reading more of his work.
