Childhood friends go on a group holiday with their families at a very luxurious villa in France. What could go wrong?!
Despite not warming to any of the characters in this story I enjoyed the premise. I found that the last quarter of the book was full of twists and turns and quite gripping. It really kept me turning the pages!
I found the first quarter to be quite slow going but persevered with it and glad I did.
This book is a quick read once you get into it.
There are quite a lot of characters but I didn’t find it confusing remembering who was who. They're reasonably well developed but unfortunately I didn't like any of them.
I would recommend this book and it would make a great holiday read. Maybe not if you’re on holiday with friends at a villa!
