I love a good thriller with a deep secret that's the glue that's beginning to slowly peel away... 'The Holiday' - and this holiday is not reminiscent of happy days on the beach with loved ones and ice cream. This took a little while to get going but stick in there, as it's a great book.
There's intrigue and suspicion with a group of friends getting together on a holiday for birthday celebrations - however things soon become tense when a message on a phone brings a secret to light. It's then a 'who can you trust' scenario and who is keeping secrets. What follows is a maelstrom of shock reveals and these revelations really drive the novel - super fun!
