As I started this book I found it to be slow and some of the families in the story very dysfunctional. Although not enjoying at first I decided to stick with it. Am I glad I did, the story slowly unfolded into a jaw dropping crescendo that would not let me put the book down.
It was supposed to be the perfect holiday, four best friends and their husbands and children. The story is told by Kate who suspects that her husband is having an affair with one of her best friends. But which one!
As Kate closes in on the truth she realises too late that the stakes are far higher than she ever imagined.
This is a well written thriller that grips you until you read to the finnish.
Would certainly recommend this book
