I was drawn in instantly by how the main character, Kate, was feeling. She was described so well that I could imagine/feel the fear, anger and suspicion that she encountered throughout the story. The other characters varied in degrees of interest to me but I found myself intrigued by the teenagers, as I felt there was a lot more to them than met the eye. Once more the author had me hooked - I was genuinely interested in finding out more about these characters who, frankly, were unsettling. There were various points in the book where I thought I knew who the "culprit" was, only to find I was wrong each time. The author was particularly talented at leading me one way only for the story to twist in another direction. This happened more than once in the book and that's an unusual gift to be able to do that to a reader. Kudos to T M Logan. This is the first book of his I have read but I will definitely be looking for more of his work.
