I really enjoyed reading Stacey Halls's previous novels Mrs England, The Foundling and The Familiars, so I was delighted to see her newest book on ReadersFirst. I really enjoy her style of writing, and the detail which brings the characters alive. In addition, the beautiful cover design really sold me on this novel from the start, as well as a compelling sounding story. Wonderful!
