When I read a novel, especially one set in earlier times, I always enjoy them when the author’s descriptions make you feel that you are part of the scene. This book a lovely example of such a novel. You can imagine that you are with the characters and living in that time.
From the chapters provided in the first look the story line is intriguing and I will certainly be waiting eagerly for the book to arrive.
The contrast between the rich benefactor of the home for fallen women and the new occupants is delightful and you can’t help wondering how the future for the women will unravel.
