Moving on to the book, I have read other books by the author, Stacey Halls, such as ‘the foundling’ ‘Mrs England and ‘the familiars’ all of which were fantastic books.
Stacey is truely a remarkable author.

Could be another fantastic book. A interesting and intriguing Victorian England era novel set in a house for fallen women. It demands your attention from the start and throughout. The characters are likable. The story is easy to follow. Absolutely beautifully written.
