When I notice that a new Stacey Halls’ book is about to be published, my eyes light up! I hugely enjoy her work, they’re very immersive.
I love the cover of The Household, it’s so vibrant and drew my eyes to it immediately. It’s an appropriate colour for the theme, it would seem. ♥️ The story so far gives a feeling of intrigue and excitement. The setting and era are just wonderful - I enjoy tales set in a house/houses so this one sounds right up my street! I’m really keen to read on especially as I believe the characters are inspired by real people. Plus it’s historical fiction - what more could I want to pique my interest?! I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy.
