I've read one Stacey Hall novel previously and have her others on my shelf. I've always found her writing to be vivid and imaginative, and I'm instantly transported to the time and place that form the basis of this novel.
We meet several women of varying backgrounds and the scene is set for a new place, Urania Cottage, refuge to fallen women, with it's patron Anne, a woman with her own private struggles in the form of a stalker.
I can't wait to see where this tale leads.
