A very interesting start to the book and one which has had me hooked from the first paragraph. I want to know more about each of the characters, how Martha came to be in the house, what Angela’s story is and how she is involved in the house and what happens with Dunn, and finally what happens with Josephine and Annie. I am already drawn to all of the women in this book and I look forward to seeing how they progress throughout!
