Whenever I see a book by Stacey Halls, it becomes an instant buy, and this one certainly didn't disappoint. The writing style was exactly what I usually expect from Halls, fairly fast paced and engaging; it certainly kept me gripped!
The premise of the story was interesting, feeling like I had been transported back to the 1800's. I felt fully immersed in the story, as if I was there watching it unfold before my eyes. The time relevant details scattered throughout this book only helped to immerse me more. The addition of actual places really helped to cement the feelings of being present.
