I absolutely love Stacey Hall and her ability to write a bloody good book. I couldn't put it down, and that's the same for all of her stories.

Urania Cottage is a home for fallen women. A second chance to learn how to run a household, get an education, before being shipped to Australia to start a new life.

Martha is the first girl to move in, with Mrs Holdsworth being the matron of the house. Seeing to it that all the girls are kept in line. It's not long before other girls arrive, one of them being Josephine. Martha and Josephine become fast friends, but each of them have an agenda and are looking to find a way of getting back to the ones they seek and love.

Millionairess Angela Burdet-Coutts is one of the few who are helping to bank roll this experiment. However she is constantly looking over her shoulder as someone from her past is threatening to come out of the shadows and will stop at nothing to get close to Angela again.

Loved every bit of this book and can't wait for whatever delights Stacey Halls has in mind for us readers!
