Having read all of Stacey Halls previous books I knew I'm going to love this one. Straight form the beginning you are being transported in time to 1800s London, descriptions of places and objects make it so realistic and honest ,you can imagine yourself there. Story of women all from different backgrounds and social statuses although so so different but so similar as no matter how much money they have they all have to fight for freedom . It is totally captivating and so easy to read , I opened the book and did not even realise that I got half way through before putting it down for the night . I love the addition of real historical characters and places , makes me want to go to Shepherds Bush and look for the real Urania Cottage. Once again Stacey Halls has waved her magic quill and cast a spell on me, making me fall deeper in love with London and it's history, places and people.
