The intriguing cover first grabbed my attention, and I'm glad it did after such an interesting introduction to the main character and his extraordinary family dramas, alongside the problems with his work. It sets things up nicely for you to find out more about the complex relationship between him and his son, with the stresses that work brings his way. Really excited to read more as it was a brilliant opening!
