I was kind of disappointed when, from the outset, I knew what his headache was. I think if I didn't read the blurb I would have found it more intriguing and more of an accomplishment when I eventually found out that it was a brain tumour. But that disappointment was outweighed by the fact it has really nice dialogue and character development. I like the fact that you get to know the dynamic of the characters quite quickly.
The cover reminds me of the Wizards of Oz. I really like the simplistic font and it does draw me in. I like it when I can look at a book after I finish and figure out the significance of it. I do want the daschund (now I know it's a daschund) to have legs though!
