It is eye opening to see a story from the perspective the family of a victim - no matter what the disorder. In this case, it is substance abuse. As someone who suffers from anorexia, I enjoy reading stories on mental health as I can relate to them but reading about the impact on the family was in fact heart breaking and hard for me to process.
