I thoroughly enjoyed this book. At first I was a bit unsure because the entire blurb seemed to happen in the first few chapters but I shouldn’t have worried. The story developed beautifully. The characters were convincing in their strengths and weaknesses and the descriptions of the different places, especially the weather, felt so real. There was a bit of a crime/adventure side to the book which helps to keep the tension up as well as wanting to know how the surgery works out. The only part that I found somewhat unconvincing was the car crash. It was very convenient in terms of leading the plot where it needed to go but it did feel a bit clumsily stuck in there.
I would highly recommend this book to everyone because I found it interesting and a delight to read.
