This was a refreshingly originally written novel in my opinion. It gives us a reason to self reflect decisions and choices we make and have made in our own lives. There is also that ‘devil on the shoulder’ kind of reflection where you wonder if you have made a different decision where would your life have taken you and where would you be now?
I have enjoyed reading this book as it was well written and comical at times which I appreciated. I found it easy to get into however the actual plot wasn’t as fast paced as I feel it could have ultimately been. Usually factual books are a bit slower in the aspect of plots I find.
Overall I felt this was an enjoyable read and quite different to my usual picks.
