This book grabbed me from the front cover. Something about it spoke to me that inside lay a book I could sink into on a cold night.
From the start you get to grips with the characters and their lives. The author cleverly weaves you in and out following the life of Johnny MacKinnon. He runs an ice factory which is in danger of going under due to huge fines it has attained. An accident happened and Johnny's only hope is that there may be a witness........but who ?........and will they come forward and tell the truth ?
Having not spoken to his son in a while Johnny also discovers his life is in danger when it is found he could have a brain tumour. Could anything else go wrong for this poor man ......or will the author tell a different story ?.............I will not tell !!
