The chapter titles and language used are reminiscent of Robinson Crusoe. The book is set in the 1600’s and appears to be told from the point of view of a rich young lady, born under the light of the comet. The language is of its time but this makes it not for me, If anything I was slightly bored by this extract rather than filled with the desire to know more.
