I loved the facsimile old manuscript style that the book appears to be printed in and the attempts to make it look as if the writing itself is from a time gone by. Gives me an ethereal, floating feeling. And if this book is 'Perfect for readers of Sarah Perry, Jessie Burton and Sarah Waters' then it is perfect for me for I think I've read all the books by those auspicious ladies.
