Plus the extrodinary relationship between her and her best friend Mary who is a servant and companion to Ursula.
Once the world is viewed through the eyes of Miss Flight it is a far more magical place.
The book is Charming, beautifully written and a treat for the senses. A rich tapestry of a forgotten age.
