This is a 17th century, coming of age story about Ursula Flight, who was unfortunate enough to be born on the night of the bad luck comet of 1664, and she has a difficult destiny written in the stars.
I was hesitant in going into this book as, due to it being set in the 1664, a long, long time ago, I thought that I wouldn't enjoy it but I am actually happy to say that I did. I mean, I don't think that I would read it again, but it was a pleasant read. (The more than gorgeous cover is to thank because I definitely judged the cover. Absolutely beautiful!)
I'd definitely recommend reading this book, even if period novels aren't for you. They aren't necessarily for me, but here we are!
