Such an immersive and beautiful story! The character of Ursula drew me in immediately. This story follows her throughout her life, from petulant child to board treading adult. The authors strongest talent with this book is the character building of the main character, and her ability to make everything come to life through her eyes.
I adored the layout of this book, from normal chapters to playbills to pay snippets it was certainly a very visual read.
It was also extremely well researched for the subject matter it was dealing with. As a drama graduate myself that was an important part of this read for me.
Some parts fun, some parts wistful and whimsical, I would recommend this to anyone who likes something a little out of the ordinary, because Ursula certainly isn't!
