My first impression, having read the synopsis, was 'oh, a modern-day Lord of the Flies, great'. Having started reading, however, I'm less sure. I don't really like the writing style so much - it seems to perhaps be aimed at teenagers. I think on balance I'd still like to give it a go, because I really do want to know what happens on the desert island....
