My first impressions of this book are that it sounds like an interesting read. I've not read Lord of the Flies so I wouldn't know what a contemporary version would be like anyway but the story of teenagers surviving on an island sounds like it would be a fun and drama fillled book. I like the cover of the book as it makes it look like a book full of suspense and makes me want to know more about what happens. After read the first impression I'm not sure it's something that would keep my interest but I'm sure it's a great book if you liked this type of book.
